Welcome to Holbox Island with Lotus House of Yoga
Welcome to Holbox Island with Lotus House of Yoga
For over a decade, Anne Sweet, Mary Clare Sweet, Danny Campos, and Chaeli Buda have traveled to the magical island of Holbox, Mexico. There's a reason we keep returning year after year, it's the magnetic energy you have to experience for yourself. We want you to join us, so we've made it as simple as possible to get there. You book your flights to Cancun. We arrange the rest.
Once you arrive on the island, you're greeted by kindness. Everything here is local, and the community lives by ecological conservation values. This is a standard led by the owner of our resort, Las Nubes Holbox. You'll cruise through town on a golf cart (there are no cars), passing small shops and restaurants, then drive down the beach past crystal blue water and white sand. At the end of the island, our resort sits away from the buzz of town.
A Small Group, On Purpose
This year we're keeping the group intimate, just 12 travelers. This is how we keep the retreat feeling like what it actually is: a small circle of people who eat together, practice together, and leave as friends. I wish I could tell you the countless stories of friendships forged on this trip.
If Holbox has been calling you, don't wait to claim your spot.
Wellness Path + CoreCode Movement Teacher Training
While on retreat, you can choose the wellness path or CoreCode Movement School. The wellness path is two yoga classes a day plus a handful of optional workshops. CoreCode School is based in our 200-hour curriculum, with access to our entire virtual school, all sessions apply toward our yoga school curriculums and continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance.
What is truly special about CoreCode training school is that you graduate with the foundation to teach yoga, pilates, sculpt. and BreatheStrong.
This retreat is about listening to your soul. Nothing is mandatory, and everything is at your own comfort.

A Day In The Life in Holbox
Awaken to the sounds of the gentle ocean rolling on the sand.
Grab your yoga mat and stroll to the resort restaurant for some morning coffee or juice. Walk up the stairs for rooftop yoga and find your other retreat mates arrive.
Your hour long flow class is accompanied by the sounds of the jungle, the soft rising sun, and a playlist that will help you remember why you came here… for you.
After Shavasana we walk downstairs for our group breakfast, provided in your registration, where we will go over the schedule for the day. This is a great opportunity to sit by someone new and discover their story.
If you are in the Yoga School program, you will head to the outdoor classroom next to the spa for your first workshop, maybe pranayama breathing, maybe sequencing, maybe the 8 limbs!
If you are on the wellness path, you hit the beach for a morning dip and ocean side reading. You booked a massage at the paradise outdoor spa and head over for your appointment.
After an early afternoon snooze, you decide to head to town for a few hours to check out the shops. You ride a beach cruiser bike down town to really take in the sun, sand, and surf. After walking for a bit and checking out some prospective restaurants, you ride home.
Once again, grab your yoga mat for a groovy evening slow flow. The shavasana is perfected by a sweet ocean breeze.
A refreshing shower in your room with a moment to check in at home leaves you feeling ready for the evening. What to do? Your room mate wants to head into town on a golf cart taxi to experience the mouth watering Luma. You decide to stay in and have dinner with a few new friends at the resort restaurant. You laugh under the moon light and look out over the sparkling midnight waters. This is exactly where you are meant to be, right here, right now.
